Every Lovely Word I Know December again, summer rains No Jack Frost on our windowpane The year's been long, I've sung my song Now I'm headed back where I belong The drive has made me, tired and lonely I just need my one and only Soon we'll be a family Oh, I promise that I'll never leave I'm coming home, don't need the road I've never felt so incomplete, you're all I need And I know this sounds so absurd, but you're every lovely word I know Tinsel beads, Christmas wreaths Decorations on our tree The house aglow, we're dancing slow Underneath the mistletoe I'm coming home, don't need the road I've never felt so incomplete, you're all I need And I know this sounds so absurd, but you're every lovely word I know

about

I love Christmas carols. I grew up singing them with my parents and sisters. For me, Christmas is a wonderful time of sharing hope, joy, love and abundance with the ones who mean the most to you.

I must thank my wonderful Paul, who never stopped encouraging me to keep going throughout this insane project, who let me hijack his surprise planned romantic birthday weekend so I could sing and record Christmas carols literally by candlelight at 2am in a converted old church (he secretly packed the recording gear, because I 'might want to use it'), who was instrumental in teaching me the techy ways of GarageBand and Logic and who stubbornly mixed and mastered this baby until it was the beautiful shiny EP it is now. My Paul, you are Every Lovely Word I Know. One loves one.

This is for Paul & my family, who love to sing carols (the daggier the better). I'm sorry there are no disco beats on this one :)

Merry Christmas!
